invest in education.
When I built Hollywood Arts in 2005, I was told time and again that homeless adults didn’t need watercolors. I persisted, confident that the arts could teach new thinking skills, improve self-esteem and build community. Thankfully the creative community agreed and we built the school through grassroots support. Fifteen years later proved that the model successfully diverted our students from chronic homelessness.
Now we’re back facing the same narrow thinking and we need you again. Join the movement to build Modern Learn Lab. Creativity counts.
