Louis Abramson is a former candidate for State Assembly and a community organizer based in Hollywood. He obtained his PhD in astrophysics from the University of Chicago in 2015 and, in 2019, was elected to the Central Hollywood Neighborhood Council where he chaired the Homelessness Committee. Notably, he led initiatives that garnered recognition in the LA Times, including efforts to distribute food to seniors and a census of homeless Angelenos during the pandemic.

In addition to his council role, Louis serves on the boards of the SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition and Hollywood4WRD, both committed to combating homelessness in Los Angeles.
